Though the Hindi version has very less show counts, still I watch the Telugu version first because I got an idea of how the dubbing will be in the trailer and other songs.

So I didn’t take such a big risk of watching this movie in Hindi first. I have seen the movie in Telugu first and after watching the movie, I would like to say that for me, the movie Kushi has proved to be a good one-time watchable movie. You can say that it is a kind of above-average movie, which will pass the time, but forget it.

Film Story

There is nothing memorable or extraordinary in the movie. I know, I have seen many times, people say that what is a one-time watchable movie? Who watches movies more than once? No, it is not like that. People watch romantic drama movies more than once. Even the movies that have been added to Kushi, you must have seen them many times. So don’t say that what is a one-time watchable movie? It happens. If the romantic drama movies are good, then I feel like watching them again and again.

But after watching Kushi, I won’t feel like watching it again. Because there is no magical moment in this movie. There is no amazing scene or dialogue, which you feel like watching again and again. Even the two lead characters of the movie, Vijay and Samantha, can’t connect emotionally with them. And the reason for this is that the movie entertains in some places, otherwise, it is flat in the maximum portion. If I talk about comedy, then definitely in the Telugu version, the comedy of the movie works very well in some places.

Especially in the Kashmir portion, Vijay Deoponda, due to the difference in the language, the dialogues that he speaks, half Telugu, half Hindi, the way he speaks, those things look very funny and are successful in making people laugh. Apart from this, some scenes are successful in making people laugh in the movie. But at the same time, some scenes look very forced, which will make you feel that they are telling you to laugh, so let’s laugh.

So there are some such scenes. But still, the overall film is successful in entertaining in some portions through comedy. Apart from this, if I talk about the strongest point of the film, then it is the climax of the film. In the climax, a very beautiful message has been tried to give here. The message is better, better, more beautiful, more impressive than that.

I felt that the way the director created that situation, the way he handled it in the climax, the kind of conclusion he has given, I would say that it was very good. Looking at it, it seems that if the writing of the whole film was good, then this particular scene and this particular message could have hit very well. But what happens is that this message just looks good from above. It creates a feel-good moment for a few moments.

But it can’t leave a deep impression. The biggest reason behind this is that the film does not give time to build the drama and characters anywhere. The message that the film is trying to give here, has been created from the thoughts of Vijay and Samantha’s father. How is there a conflict between their thoughts? What are the differences? We get to see a message about all these things later on. But the problem is that these two characters have not been given any special space in the film. The thoughts of these two characters have not been presented properly.

Film Summary

You won’t feel that the director has been able to present any side properly. I would also like to say that these two characters, who are playing an important role in this message of the film, will be in the film for 2 minutes and then disappear for 20 minutes. Apart from this, the love story of Vijay and Samantha in the film, I would also say that it doesn’t look very organic. It is made very forcibly. But it works. But after their marriage, the understanding between them, after this understanding, the way these two collide in the future. Or the fights that happen. Neither that understanding has arisen anywhere.

If I talk about the screenplay of the film, then there are some positives and some negatives of the screenplay. One of the most positive points of the screenplay is that the film with its comedy in some small parts, with the pair of Vijay and Samantha, with beautiful visuals, and with some good songs, if we say 2 hours out of 45 minutes, then at least 2 hours are successful in engaging decently. If some portions are left, then the film is not boring.

But as I said, the film does not try to develop things at the screenplay level. Where it was necessary to develop the story, the characters, and their thoughts, in those portions, the film seems to be running very fast. And later, when everything becomes predictable, then the film slows down. And there comes the song. Some unnecessary scenes are added forcefully with Arjun Reddy. Everything seems to be added very forcibly.

And slowly, before the film ends in some portions, it starts making you feel bored. Rest, as I said, the songs in the film are very good. They look better on the big screen. Taking these songs, I was expecting to hear some good background music in the film, which gives a good base to the emotional scenes. But I did not get to see or feel anything like this in the film. Emotional scenes include any track playing background music in the drama. Nowhere does he exalt things in this way.

If I talk about the performances, then it is not a big deal to play this type of role for Vijay Deverbonda. He has done this before. And here too, he has played it very well. There is no complaint from him here. Although, the director did not try to limit his performance to the Gita Govindam level. The rest was that I talked.
