Bholaa movie has been released in theatres. I was very hyped when I saw the teaser, but when I saw the trailer, I was like, no, let’s get into reality. I was a little scared that the movie might be a generic remake and he might tell us what he did next. First, let’s talk about the story. The main character of the movie, played by Ajay Devgn, came out of jail after 10 years and he has never seen his daughter.

There’s a huge conspiracy going on, and Bhola has to get a lorry truck to a police station in 4 hours. If you’re getting a familiar feeling after hearing all this, then it’s the same story as the Kanchi movie. And Bhola is an official remake.

And this works to some extent in the movie. But the second category is about the action. Yes, the overall story of the movie is 85-90% similar to what you saw in Kanchi. But the grounded approach to action that you saw in the Tamil movie, in this Hindi movie, they’ve tried to make it grand by adding spice and VFX. For example, the truck vs bike fight sequence. In the teaser trailer itself, the majority of it looked very unrealistic.

And it’s the same in the movie. But the second one, where Bhola is hitting people with a trident, is much better. The action sequence that impressed me the most in the movie is also not 100% perfect. But it’s a movie. And if you’re going to watch it for that, it’ll do the job of a trident. Because it’s Ajay Devgn’s movie.
